Objectives:

  • Facilitate easy access to relevant information about Balkumari College, its programs, activities, and policies for students, faculty, staff, and the public through various channels.
  •  Ensure transparency in all communication processes, including financial matters, administrative decisions, and academic policies, fostering trust and accountability within the college community.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the media, governmental bodies, local communities, alumni, and other stakeholders, representing Balkumari College’s interests accurately and positively.
  • Implement effective communication strategies to disseminate information promptly, accurately, and comprehensively, utilizing diverse media platforms and channels tailored to the preferences of different stakeholders.
  • Establish and manage efficient feedback mechanisms to gather insights, suggestions, and concerns from stakeholders, enabling continuous improvement and responsiveness to community needs.
  • Develop robust protocols and procedures for crisis communication, ensuring timely and transparent dissemination of information during emergencies or critical incidents.
  • Provide training and support to staff members involved in communication roles, enhancing their skills in public relations, media engagement, and effective communication practices.
  • Promote the core values of Balkumari College, including integrity, diversity, academic excellence, and community engagement, through all communication initiatives and activities.
  •  Maintain an active and engaging online presence through the college website, social media platforms, and other digital channels, keeping stakeholders informed and connected in the digital age.
