Message from EMIS coordinator


The successful management of today’s education system requires effective policy making and system monitoring through statistics and information. The EMIS unit has enabled BKC to make information-based decisions for effective system management. It is also promoting a culture of open communication, exchange of information for teaching and learning, tracking of educational performance and planning for growth.

As the Education Management Information System (EMIS) Coordinator, I extend a warm welcome to all users accessing our platform. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, efficient, and user-friendly tools to support education management at all levels.

  • Improve capacities in collecting, processing, storing, analyzing, and disseminating data.
  • Ensure that decision-makers such as the college Principal, management committee, and employers can rely on timely and reliable data for informed decision-making.
  • Enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data handling processes within the college.
  • Enrich the computer-aided teaching-learning system by improving the computer literacy of students, staff, and faculty.
  • Provide training and resources to enable students, staff, and faculty to effectively utilize computer-based tools and technologies in their academic pursuits.
  • Foster a technology-enabled learning environment that enhances engagement and collaboration among all stakeholders.
  • Cater to the continual improvement of technologies and information management systems across all sectors of the college.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that the college remains at the forefront of technological advancements, facilitating seamless access to information and resources for all stakeholders.


The coordinator of the Education Management Information System (EMIS)   Unit shall be Computer Head or any staff/college member with high level computer or ICT skills. The members shall be Program Incharge, Faculty, Exam Head, Staff and Student. The member shall be inclusive of gender, ethnicity and wider-college community. The committee has the following members.

Meeting | Duration

The meeting of EMIS Unit will be at-least once in every month. The additional meetings can be hold if required in the consultation with the college Principal. The venue for the meeting will be EMIS Unit office  or meeting hall of the college. The meeting shall gain the legitimacy with presence of more than 50% of the members. 

The duration of the committee shall be for two years. The Board of Directors can approve the extension of same committee for next one cycle.
